The High Seas Fishing Boats and Fish Processing Chamber include the most important Integrated Fishing Firms, which are those counting with their own High Seas Fishing Boat Fleet, and that manufacture in their own plants the raw material caught by their fishing boats, obtaining thereby the highest yield and giving the maximum added value to the raw material. They also commercialize all their own production. These firms, with investments higher than 350,000,000, get U$S 250,000,000 annually, of which U$S 200,000,000 correspond to foreign trade. They also supply daily with fresh fish the cities of Buenos Aires, Rosario, Còrdoba, Mendoza, and Tucumàn among others, and occupy directly or indirectly more than 40,000 workers.
