IFIM is an online magazine available free of charge for readers from across the globe. It is published in English so that it can reach those who live outside of Iceland and work in the fishing sector and related fields.
Although the magazine is called “Icelandic Fishing Industry Magazine” (IFIM) it will also cover fishing related news, events and various subjects from other countries.
Iceland is a large global player in the fishing sector; in developmental work, technology, aquaculture, research, education, etc.
There are wide-ranging topics to cover when it comes to the fishing sector and our goal is to cover them as thoroughly as possible. We want to show that what Icelanders are doing is linked with what is taking place in other fishing-nations, such as Spain, Portugal, Norway and the Faroe Islands.
