Pescanova ratifies rejection of Nueva Pescanova capital increase

Pescanova’s shareholders ratified the decision to reject the capital increase of Nueva Pescanova and contest it in court, the company reported in a statement sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
This decision, adopted at the Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting held this week in Burela, had already been adopted at the previous extraordinary meeting in September 2016, but the voting session was repeated because the Broadbill investment fund increased its position in the capital of Pescanova and became one of the main shareholders, changing from 3.69 per cent to 11.5 per cent of the capital.
