Marel Spain born in 2003 in a small office in the Galician village of Arousa, after the merger with the Danish company Scanvaegt in 2007 the headquarters moves to Gava, where it remains until the acquisition of Stork Food Systems in 2010 and finally set in Ruby (Barcelona). From this location manages the administrative, financial, sales, marketing, parts and service for the Iberian Peninsula. The technical and commercial network of the company is distributed throughout the Spanish territory, to serve our customers quickly and efficiently.
Marel Food Systems (ICE:MARL) is an Iceland-based company active within the food industry. It is primarily engaged in the development and manufacture of food processing equipment for the fish, poultry and meat industries. The Company also offers solutions for cheese processing and prepared-food products, covering various aspects of processing, from slaughtering and primary processing of raw material to packing and labeling of finished products.
