CONSERVAS FREDO was founded by Mr Chiaffredo Nasario who for years had been dedicated to marketing salted anchovy in his native Italy following the family tradition. His entrepreneurial spirit and its pursuit of higher quality anchovies brought to Cantabria and in 1964 decided to settle in Laredo and found CANNED FRED.
Fred is currently maintaining and directed by Giorgio Roberto Nasario, their children.
In 1998 the company moved to new facilities built in the industrial area of ??Laredo, with modern facilities and 10,000 m2 of operational area, ending production in the 2 older plants.
Fishcor horse mackerel plant progresses as planned Namibia
The National Fishing Corporation of Namibia (Fishcor) onshore horse mackerel processing plant being set up at Walvis Bay is progressing according to plans, as it was reported by the firm’s chief executive officer.
