This report covers the activity of salmon in Norway, focusing on aspects such as harvests, prices, markets and exports and imports. EUROPE Norway Prices The future price for 3 to 6 kg in March is NOK 65.50 (EUR 6.77/kg), while for April and May 2018 they estimate it will be at NOK 59.50 (EUR 6.14/kg) and NOK 58.70 (EUR 6.05/kg). During week 9, the average price of fresh salmon was NOK 65.16/kg (EUR 6.78/kg). This figure is up 5% on that of the previous week and 9% on that of the same week in 2017. Compared with the same week in 2016, it was up 11% in value, according to Norwegian Statistics.
