The average CIF price of fillets –basa and panga- imported in September was USD 2,946/t, down 2% on that of August and 12% on that of September 2014. During the first nine months of the year the average was USD 3,264/t, down 2% on that of the same period last year.

In September, incoming volumes of frozen fillets of basa and panga reported 8,172 tonnes, worth USD 24,074,000 CIF, up 6% in volume and 3% in value on those imported in the previous month and down 16% and 26% respectively on those imported in September 2014.

During the period they totaled 79,785 tonnes and USD 240,420,000, up 12% in volume and 10% in value on those of 2014.
