The average price of fillets –basa and panga- imported in April was USD 3,407/t, down 1% on that of March and up 6% on that of April 2014. During the first four months of the year the average was USD 3,428/t, up 8% on that of the same period last year.

In April, incoming volumes of frozen fillets of basa and panga reported 9,344 tonnes, worth USD 31,838,000 CIF, up 13% in volume and 11% in value on those imported in the previous month and up 108% and 121% respectively on those imported in April 2014.

During the period they totaled 36,456 tonnes and USD 124,987,000, up 6% in volume and 15% in value on those of 2014.
