Handy Launches Online Seafood Store, Offering Gluten-Free and Other Seafood Products

  (UNITED STATES, 10/23/2013)

Handy announces the launch of their new online seafood store offering a variety of the company’s popular handmade seafood products.

In addition to Handy’s favoured gluten-free crab cakes are two additional gluten-free cakes (Crab & Shrimp and Crab & Shrimp Risotto Cakes).

Handy's gluten free products are certified by the GFCO (Gluten Free Certification Organization), meeting requirements that exceed the FDA gluten free guidelines.

The site also offers soft crabs, several other crab cake varieties, stuffed imperial crab shells and many other seafood products.

Gluten-Free crab cakes

“We often get calls from customers who have tried our gluten-free crab cakes but cannot find them in their local neighborhood store," said Carol Haltaman, head of Marketing & Communication.

"We are excited to be able to offer consumers another way to purchase delicious handmade Handy products,” added Carol Haltaman.

The new online store is a great place to find new Handy products as they become available and for selecting that special seafood gift for friends or family.

Handy's new online seafood store can be found at www.handyseafoodstore.com.

About Handy International

Handy is America’s oldest seafood processor and has consistently maintained the highest quality standards in the seafood industry for over 100 years.

Handy opened a plant in Crisfield on Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay in 1903 and began specializing in the processing of the area’s best-known delicacy: soft shell crabs.

Handy is a family-owned company with over 100 years of experience in the seafood industry.

Though the Handy plant has a new location and has expanded over the years, it is still located in Crisfield, Maryland and we continue to be a family-owned company with a focus on quality and transparency.

Handy's product line has grown to include handmade crab cakes and seafood cakes, shrimp products, crab meat, oysters and fish.
