The Saucy Fish Co. Expands Into Europe

  (UNITED KINGDOM, 12/21/2017)

The Saucy Fish Co. has secured three new major retail accounts in France and Denmark for  range of frozen fish with accompanying sauces.

The latest additions to the range of products, which will be available in France and Denmark are: Salmon with Chili, Lime and Ginger Dressing, Herb Crusted Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce, and Smoked Haddock with Vintage Cheddar and Chive Sauce. The brand, part of Icelandic seafood group Seachill which was acquired by Hilton Food Group in October, has a range of nine products which are now available in eight countries.

International business manager at The Saucy Fish Co., Paul Macis, said: "This is such an exciting time for The Saucy Fish Co.; our frozen products have been so well received in the UK, US and Canada, so we look forward to working alongside Franprix and Dansk Group to introduce the range to even more consumers in Europe"

Joining 15 of the range of chilled products, which began with Sainsbury’s and then followed by Tesco, is online supermarket Ocado, becoming the fourth retailer in the UK to stock the frozen range, introducing the new Frozen Herb Crusted Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce, alongside Sea Bass with Salsa Verde, Basa with Asian BBQ Sauce and Thai Spiced Fishcakes.

“New product development has been a focus for The Saucy Fish Co brand this year, especially within our frozen range. Herb Crusted Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce offers a new exciting twist to our frozen range, so we’re thrilled to be introducing the product to consumers in the UK, through Ocado”, added Macis.

The Saucy Fish Co. is committed to the three core areas of environmentally friendly fishing; sustainability, ethics and authenticity.
