Egersund Ice Factory Ltd, a subsidiary of Egersund Fisk, is located in Norway's biggest fishing harbour, Egersund. The plant produces and sells freshwater ice. Mainly to fishing vessels for on board storage of their catch, but also to some fish processing factories.
With a yearly sale of 25-30,000 ton, the company is one of Norway's biggest producers of ice. With a daily production capacity of over 200 ton and a storage capacity of 550 ton, the ice factory is able to supply any fishing vessel with ice at the speed of 100 ton an hour.
