In 1997, COMERCIAL ALKORTA ANAIAK is set up as a limited liability company.
In 1998, at the height of its business activity, the company decides to invest in new and spacious facilities together with the most up-to-date equipment for the purposes of handling foods with cod as its main product.
Since January 2009, Bacalaos Alkorta Alkorta is working on the new facilities of the Industrial area of Albitxuri. The new facilities, with more than 3,700 squared meters, are equipped with latest technologies for the care, conservation and elaboration of our products with the highest standards of quality, allowing us to continue being leaders in the elaboration and distribution of desalted, salty and frozen codfish.
