From 7 to 13 September, the dynamics of prices for frozen fish in the wholesale segment of the domestic market, basically, showed a tendency towards stability.

In the Far East region, there was a tendency towards strengthening of prices for cod (+ 2.6%, 120 rubles / kg, -35% since the beginning of the year), due to the favorable situation on the world market. Prices for other types of frozen fish did not change (pollock - 75 rubles / kg, -35.3%, herring - 52 rubles / kg, -11.9%, flounder - 65 rubles / kg, -13.3% ), being influenced by weakening demand and high level of railway tariffs.

In the Northwest, prices for the main types of frozen fish remained stable, the main factors of which were the growth in supply from the fishery and the positive dynamics of stocks, despite the active demand from traders and processors: haddock - 135 rubles / kg, -23.3% , cod - 195 rubles / kg, -25%, mackerel - 120 rubles / kg, -13%, herring - 64 rubles / kg, -14.7%.

In the central regions, the price for pollock slightly increased (+ 2.1%, 97 rubles / kg, -26% YTD) due to a seasonal increase in freight charges, as well as herring (+ 3%, 68 rubles / kg, -12, 8%) due to an increase in purchases by processors. Prices for other types of frozen fish were stable (mackerel - 130 rubles / kg, -5.8%, capelin - 120 rubles / kg).

Retail prices continue to rise. From September 1 to September 7, the average level of consumer prices for frozen whole fish increased by 0.1%. Compared to the beginning of the year, prices increased by 0.1%.
