Maza, who has also resigned as president of the Andalusian Federation of Fishing Associations (FAAPE), he has made this decision so as not to damage the reputation and image of both organizations, as well as to be able to focus on their defense and the clarification of the facts.
Cepesca, who has thanked Maza for the work carried out by the owner during the years in which he has held the vice presidency of the organization, expresses his commitment to reject and condemn any criminal conduct and regrets that some people, directly or indirectly related to the sector, mask this type of supposed actions taking refuge in an activity, the fishing, characterized by effort and exemplary behavior, as evidenced in numerous occasions and in adverse situations.
The Confederation, which wishes to clarify the facts investigated which, at its judgment, pertain to the scope of personal decisions and responsibilities, trust that not They will harm neither the sector nor the work of the organizations that represent it. In this sense, Cepesca has already offered the law enforcement agencies and the Court number 6 of the National Court, in charge of the case, all its collaboration in case it is so required throughout the course of the investigation, today under summary secrecy, or during the subsequent judicial process.
